What You Saw First

The paintings in What You Saw First depict nothing specific. Thick, overlapping fields of colour, physical and present, form shapes that read as faces, animals, bodies or landscapes, yet keep slipping into something else. What you see first is no truer than what comes next. Here, amid the autumn gloom, you step into colour: vivid, crackling and alive, a break from all the grey out there.

"Both me and my wife love the books so much. We flipped through it several times, planning where we gonna hang the pictures, how to combine them. It’s one thing to look at these on a small screen but holding the printed version is something else. You are such a great photographer Jenny. I love how you capture everyday life in a way that it feels like true art, warms my heart. Best thing I purchased this year for sure :)"

“As a fan of Jenny’s photography I was absolutely delighted to purchase these beautiful prints in book form. Love the “flick or frame” concept and there are already two photos selected for framing. Highly recommended!
